Check low lying furniture or bookshelves. We threw out a love seat last week thinking it was where they’d had an accident and it turned out someone had peed on the books on the bottom of the book shelf. About $600 worth of text books ruined!

My dog gets pee on her feet and tracks it through. I blacklit the floor once and swear to god it was like little paw prints all around the front door.
Pee DOWN HILL, silly dog!

@tksjewelry- I am a carpet sniffer too! I cannot stand not knowing where a smell is coming from or if there is a smell.
@sulaii– The hubs is in charge of the litterbox because I’m pregnant and he does not clean it nearly as often as he should so my oldest cats pees in our tub and sink drains! I feel for you with the vent/air conditioner problem! I am going to try Kilz on the floor beneath the carpet too, sounds logical!
Oh and Nature’s Miracle works really well but if you have a Fleet Farm around (I think it’s a midwest thing though) it’s much cheaper there than at PetSmart/Petco.

Well we have wood floors, and our carpet (tiny area rug) was 100% dry… we DO have a big huge vent in our floor though (yay old house!) so I hope that’s not it!
It seems to be gone today… yesterday literally it STUNG my eyes, even with a candle burning! I will have to figure out where to get a blacklight… we inherited these couches though so that’s not going to be too fun to wonder “pee stain, or hubby’s promiscuous brother?”

Febreeze definitely works- or try that powder you put down on your rug before you vaccume, my mom used to use it, and it smelled amazing!
