Your wedding isn’t till next July, right? You’ll have plenty of time to have the dress let out!

It looks like you’re wearing a black bra.  Will you be wearing that for the wedding? That may be affecting the look.

How long were you wearing the dress for?  At a few shops the workers told me that with a corset back it will look tight for 20 minutes and then loosen a bit.  Were you wearing it for a while?

Try it without a bra. There is good boning in Maggie dresses and it should give you a bit more room. I also agree with wearing it for half an hour or so and seeing if it loosens a bit.

Don’t give up on the Adorae yet either. I tried on a few Maggies and was a 6 in some and an 8 in others, so the size could be ok when you get it.

It looks like it will fit you like a glove when  you take your bra off.  If you want some extra ‘lift’ you could have bra cups sewn in…and like previous posters have mentioned your dress will definitely loosen up a bit if you wear it around the house.  I think you look absolutely gorgeous in this dress!!!!  You have a fabulous figure!

Why do you have 2 and whats with the store you purchased them at ordering you the wrong size twice? Not sure what to tell you, but my dress did loosen up after wearing it, and you will probably lose a few pounds from the stress (not that you need to) before the wedding…

i agree with the last post, losing even 3 pounds can make a significant difference. i have been on a mission and losing weight very slowly. after every 2 pounds, i find my clothes fit differently.  also, the others are right too that it may be the bra causing that effect. if you look closely at just what the dress is doing, it does not seem be “squeezing” you.   i tried on both those dresses by the way and almost decided on Adorae and then decided to go with more pouf and will likely get Jenna. but i love your choices!  i think i like this one more than adorae…

I think the dress looks lovely on you. It doesn’t look how I think your seeing it. 😉 Honestly it’s gorgeous.

Definitely try it on without the bra – they are done up super tight @ fittings, so you might find that if you lace it yourself/with help at home, it might fit more comfortable? It doesn’t LOOK like it’s too tight, it looks like the fitted, snug dress that you’d expect to see from a Maggie. Maybe just wait until your next dress comes in to see what happens before you make your mind up. They all fit so differently!

You look great!  I agree with the previous comments.  Also, couldn’t the store order a different size gown for you, if you are really unhappy?!  You have plenty of time to do that.  Breathe…

I think the dress looks beautiful on you! That being said I would definitely try it on without the bra and have cups sewn in. That will definitely add more room around the back. Also, there are tons of back exercises you can do and even cutting out sugar will do the trick! I really love the dress though!

I think that maybe trying it on without the bra will make you feel better. I had a bridesmaid dress that did the same thing, and as soon as I lost the bra, it fit perfectly! I was pretty surprised since I really never go without one. Try it out and see! If it doesn’t fit, ask if they can let it out a pinch.

I just wore a Maggie dress for my wedding and I felt I was going to have the same issue. I was almost impossible for my Maid/Matron of Honor to snap the back panel in place. I took off the bra I had on, the tailor snap it and lace me up, and it ended up fitting perfectly.  I did not wear a bra on my wedding day and I am so glad I had the cups instead.  I am also kind of hippy so we had to let the dress out across my hips. If I would have gone a size up, I really think it would have been too big.
