willywinki2:  well then that sounds absolutely perfect for you. What a way to keep your dad’s memory alive. I ordered in blush…I’ve found a pic of the back of the dress without the veil unfortunately… pictures don’t seem to do the colour justice??? I’m freaking out because she’s ordered me a 14 and I’m usually a 10-12… maybe she’s giving me some Xmas eating room?? Lol.

I’ve hardly got anything sorted apart from church, venue, venue dresser, my dress and Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and entertainment for drinks reception. I can’t find a photographer I like, and I’m just waiting to pay the car deposit. How long have you been planning? We will have been engaged just over a year when we get married.

Here’s the pic I’ve found…..the belt is getting sewn into the dress so there won’t be ribbons dangling.

You look amazing, and that dress fits you perfectly. Not sure if it’s just the picture but the lace of the cap sleeves seems to be  lighter than the lace of your dress. Wanted to mention it in case it’s not something you’d noticed yet, but something which might bother you in the long run.

ETA: Just read the comments & saw that those aren’t actually the sleeves you’ll have on your dress, so ignore my comments about the colour!

willywinki2:  thankyou, I actually think the lace detailing on mine and yours is quite similar. Maggie dresses are just beautiful. I was stuck between a princess style and the one I’ve chosen but both were maggie. I could be sure it was a 12 I had on in the shop and it was slightly big for me… but perhaps I’m wrong, I only saw she had ordered a 14 a few days later when I was filing the receipt.

The venue dresser is a lady who will come and make tickton look pretty with centrepieces and twinkly lights etc.

I’m going to have a look at your photographer, any recommendations is helpful to me at this point.

Your wedding will come round so fast I can’t believe it’s mid June already but you sound pretty organised to me! I’ll be looking out for posts and updates from you!

willywinki2:  I tried this dress on yesterday and ohhh my goodness I love it.  I’m not the BIGGEST fan of the coset back but the lace is so beautful I may have to overlook it.  Is yours the ivory over ivory?

When I was planning for a traditional wedding, this is the dress I was going to buy. Looks just as beautiful on you as it does on the model. Absolutely stunning!

willywinki2:  seriously. I’ve tried on what feels like a thousand dresses and this one just invents a silhouette I had no idea I had! It looks amazing on you as well! It seriously has the most gorgeous lace I’ve ever seen!

carlatta84:  the dress looks great on you! One of my criteria when I started looking was no corset…until I tried this dress on! I decided to overlook it because I loved the shape it gave me and the lace! Plus my Maid/Matron of Honor gave me some good advice. Her dress had a corset and she said it was less stressful to fit in it since it has more give than a zipper!

willywinki2:  It definitely has some magic to it! And there is flexibility there, too.  I would like to lose a little more weight and that was one thing I was worried about with a zipper or button closure.  But with this I won’t have to really worry a ton about it. I’m going back Friday to try it on again and I think that this is going to be the one.  Now to hope that I haven’t waited too late! (My wedding is in March).

What kind of veil are you guys going with?  I really have always wanted a lace trimmed chapel length, but I wonder if that would take away from the dress.
