Sorry, this does stink.  I agree with some of the previous posters… maybe just dont divulge any more details to this girl.  On the bright side, I think the average person goes to maybe 1 or 2 weddings per year – a month or two later people will probably have forgotten hers!

I might be a little annoyed by it, but honestly, unless you have the same dresses, same exact shade of colors, and same decor, both of your weddings will be totally different! Best of luck!!

They are also my colors. Such a pretty combo.

The Jupiter color from Stardream papers is beautiful and so is the Lagoon color (not exactly tiffany blue enough but it was the closest).  It’s shimmery.

My bridesmaid are wearing black dupioni dresses.  That’s my venue in the pictures below (except the one with the ostrich feathers).  I’m doing red peonies for my bouquet and for my girls.  I just changed my mind on the ostrich feathers and doing tall floral centerpieces with a mix of red flowers with a little bit of bells of ireland.

I almost added purple and gold when I saw this.

I definitely think its not very thoughtful of her, but probably not enough to ruin a friendship over.  You have every right to be a little irked–I think we all to try to have unique weddings (well, maybe except for you MOH), and this just puts a little damper on it.  In the end though, don’t worry too much about it.  Imitiation is the sincerest form of flattery, even if it is more obnoxous than flattering.

Interesting fact: you can own colors.  Tiffany Blue, UPS Brown…theres even a lawsuit right now over Christian Loubotin Red; all copyrighted by the companies.
