They decided to start trying and 2 weeks later she was pregnant! She only has one ovary, so now its known as the little ovary that could 😛
She is going to be 8 months pregnant at my wedding!
I am just beside myself with excitment, we were both expecting it to be a long drawn out process and it was just so easy! She has struggled with endo and pcos too so its a huge relief.
I told her the little baby can be the flower girl/ring bearer even though it wont be out of the oven yet ^.^
The only question is what do we do about bridesmaids dresses? I am thinking of switching the colour to black and having the girls all get a cocktail dress they love. But we had a big decision making meeting to arrive at the decision of green, and now if I randomly change it to black I am going to need a good excuse (we cant announce the pregnancy until 3 months of course).
I just have a feeling that a green maternity bridesmaid dress will be hard to come by and perhaps unflattering and expensive and I want her to be comfy, pretty and happy on my day, without having to pay a fortune for her dress. Because her happiness is my happiness.
My sister looks best in black too. And my third bridesmaid is smoking and would look good in a paperbag.
Any advice ladies? Either on green maternity dresses or how to change the colour to black with out looking like I wasted a whole saturday dragging everyone to a colour choosing day?
YAY!! MY BFF HAS A BUN IN THE OVEN LOL sorry but I cant tell anyone else! (>o<)

That’s so exciting! You know what might be good? Choosing a green at David’s Bridal because it’s more likely to be there for awhile. You could have your girls go ahead and get their dresses except for your Maid/Matron of Honor, who can wait until she knows about how large her tummy will end up :).
Also–totally don’t forget about empire waists!

The benefit of dresses is they dont always have to be maternity in order to fit in them even at 8 months pregnant. You can still totally stick with green, and just look at empire waist dresses, or flowy dresses. They can be flattering for all body types.
Congrats to your MOH!

What you can do is haver her wear a different color green since she is the Maid/Matron of Honor. So that when your BM’s are ready to order their gowns, order the ones you were planning on getting, and then closer to the wedding go with your Maid/Matron of Honor and pick out a dress similar to the others(structure), so that it’s gaurenteed to fit. Or, like the above poster said, find some empire waist flowy dresses.
My Maid/Matron of Honor was 5 months pregnant when she tried this dress on,(sorry pic is so big). She tried it on in her size and it fit! You could just order her a size or two larger.

Alfred Angelo has some great maternity dresses, if I remember correctly. Since she’s Maid/Matron of Honor, she can easily wear something different than the others.
