Are you worried people will think it’s not a diamond or something due to size (not saying you are passsing it off as a diamond) or that people will think it’s so large it was unrealistic for you to get a ring that large?
I think it’s beautiful! But I also love big bling 😃 I have a 2.01 carat diamond and I absolutely love it. Shrinkage is a real thing, so give it time to adjust and I’m sure you’ll be comfortable with it!
Gorgeous ring, gorgeous hands. I’m a fan of 2ct plus!
I am a size 5.5 and my moissy is 6mm cushion so about ~1 carat equivalent. I love it because it looks reasonable for the area I live in and our income/quality of life. I dont lie about what it is, but i didnt want anything that would cause a lot of comments/questions about it.
@Nivyx I’m wearing 2.4 carats on a size 6 and am jealous of how your ring looks on your slimmer fingers! I don’t think it looks too large but can definitely commiserate with you on it feeling that way at first. It took me a month or so of daily wear to adjust to my ring but I absolutely love it and am glad we went for it to hopefully avoid the desire to upgrade in the future, although I have already started exploring ring jackets to make this one appear to be a 3 stone so I am totally drooling over @teeny1967 ring hahaha. Your ring is beautiful OP.
OP, I happen to think 2 carats is a size that looks good on anyone. You’re just luck to have such small, delicate hands and fingers. Color me green!
nobody ever cares about rings as much as people on these boards think they do. I promise a 2ct ring will not “attract stares at the grocery store.” Please.
It’s beautiful!! I’m a size 4 and have a 2 carat too! You’ll get used to it quickly!! Sometimes I think mine is big and perfect and occasionally I’ll think hmmm I could go bigger lol
It is really what you feel comfortable with. I think I’d find it too big for my finger but I LOVE the design.
Just a liiiiiitle bigger and I might say it’s too big…But I think it’s perfect as is.
