It’s a bit large but it’s gorgeous!
I got 1.5 ct on 4.5 fingers and I feel like I should have gone smaller. Oh well! Rock it!

I have a 5.5 finger and a 2.2 carat ring. I got engaged March 2016 and felt like the stone was too big but figured I would adjust. 3 years later I’m still uncomfortable with the size and barely wear my ring.
If you love it, keep it. However, if you have doubts I would size down.
You have beautiful hands and long fingers – I think it’s perfect! You only live once; rock that ring!
I voted it’s perfect as that’s how it looks to me. Ring shrinkage is very real! I upgraded from 0.6 to 1.2 and i think you’ve saved some mega bucks down the line. Also the stone size is offset by your long fingers, you have lovely hands that can carry this off.
FWIW your first post DIDNT come off as humble bragging at all. When I upgraded I had similar doubts and no where else to ask for an honest opinion. Some bees on this board get triggered so easily – ring size, no of times other people say they have sex, how old you are vs how old you look – there’s always one or two but it’s best not to engage or justify. Let them stay pressed! Lol
I think it looks beautiful!
I am a ring size 5 and got a 2ct equiv. moissanite pear and I get alot of compliments- my nail lady said “girl, he did good” the first time she saw it, the jewler we went to for our wedding bands gushed over it, and I always get grocery store compliments on it 🙂 I think 2 ct is certainly noticeable but it’s not too large to look fake (my sister told me that when I was deciding on that stone size to tell my boyfriend at the time and I agree with her). My now husband wanted to get me the 1.5 equivilent worried the 2 would be too big but I wanted 2 and thats what I got! I love mine! I also think part of it is personal style/preference and some people do prefer a ring a bit more conservative – I definately wanted a ring that looked classy not tacky or too “blingy” but also something big enough to be noticable 🙂 Another thing to consider- I don’t know how old you are but I’m 25 and while diamonds for couples in their mid 20’s that I know are smaller than mine since they’re obvioulsy much more expensive than my moissanite, many women end up adding stones or getting a bigger one as they get older- I don’t feel I will “outgrow” the size or want a bigger one as we get older i.e. more established. My sisters is a 1.25 carat with a finger size about the same as mine and now that she’s older and more established (30 w/ 2 girls under 4 yrs. & married at 24) she wishes hers was bigger. Also, remember it’s your ring! If you smile at it when you look down don’t even worry about anyone else’s oppinion of it!
I’m guessing that you’re from the midwest if people around you are saying the stone is too big. Come out to where I live, and while 2cts is still a good healthy size, it’s not that unusual. Don’t change it; it takes time to adjust to a new ring. And I wore gloves at work and regularly wore 2.1 and 3.2ct stones. Never tore a glove.
Your ring is beautiful! You will get used to it!
When I got my ring I thought the stone looked too big and was self conscious but now weeks later I love it and am used it to it! My daughter was telling me just get a 2 carat lol but I opted for the 1.5 size ring is 6
If we talk about an opinion related to the visual balance of your ring, then, I can tell you that it would look more beautiful if the stone would be smaller, like 1 c. But if you feel comfortable and you want a big stone, I do not know why to ask about the size, just enjoy it.
Are you kidding? It looks perfect on you!
