The prongs in the top photo do look kind of longer than normal. I’m not sure what you mean by rainbow film?

Both are lovely though, glad you ended up with somethign you love!

Beautiful! πŸ™‚ I see the rainbow. I don’t think it’s a bad thing but they don’t speak to everyone. Just like anything else in life. What did you do with the moissy? Did you have it set into something else?

Both are very lovely. but if you are leaning more towards a diamond, then you should have one πŸ™‚ Its a matter of taste, and you should be happy with whatever you get — Its such a good thing that your Fiance was understanding! πŸ™‚

Btw– where did you get ur Moissy from??

I’m glad you went for what felt right to you!

I’ve actually had three rings… not many people know about ring number two, because it was returned within two days. In a nutshell, my first engagement ring was an emerald in a very unique band. It’s very nice, but I wasn’t honest with myself about what I wanted, and I never felt satisfied with it. I wear it as a RHR now.

My second ring was a clarity enhanced diamond ring. I’ll say this now as a forewarning to anyone considering a CE diamond: see it in person first! I’m not against the idea of clarity enhancement, but because there’s so little grading regulation, it’s easy for standards to slide and you to not receive what you think you will.

My third (and hopefully final!) ring is a moissanite solitaire and I feel great about it. It’s nice to finally feel like you’ve found what you were looking for, and I’m glad you have your ring happy ending, too!

@Future.Mrs.K:  Probably for the best. We bought an alleged SI1 stone, and as soon as I opened the box, I was disappointed; nearly a third of the stone was yellowed, cloudy and full of inclusions. I’m just very thankful the return went smoothly!

@Future.Mrs.K:  Oh I know what you mean. The ring I wear now is a CZ– and thats becaue when we got engaged we wanted somthing solid to represent our engagement.. [ I . Hate. It ] not becuase its a CZ or because its not a diamond.. I dont want a diamond, but only because I had to settle for jus about anything until I found my dream ring.. and I have! [ were purchasing this weekend- and its a moissanite ! ] Im very happy that your getting your dream ring finally!!

@Future.Mrs.K:  thank you for sharing your story… I am in a very similar situation to you.

I have been bothering the SO for almost a year now to get engaged and after coming to Wedding Bee I fully considered a Moissanite. However, we just ordered a diamond online (I did have to sacrifice a bit of size to get the clarity/cut/colour diamond I wanted).

I feel I am happy with our decision though and can’t wait to see it.
