That’s so hard. Just let her know that you’re there for her; call her up and take her out, go over with ice cream and movies, and listen.
Something that helped me a lot and maybe it will help her too is a book called “It’s Called a Breakup Because it’s Broken” by Greg Behrendt and his wife (can’t remember her name right now). He’s the same guy that wrote “He’s Just Not that into you”.  I found it both hilarious when I really needed the laugh and completely insightful.

Im sure she will get through this, breakups are a nightmare.  Just be there for her and keep her mind occupied.

Be there for her, take her out, talk to her if she wants to talk. Breakups are so hard, it’s always nice to know you have someone you can count on and lean on. I know getting out of the house and doing things are a great help. Maybe sign her up for a cooking class or something like that, where she has to get out of the house at least once a week for a while. I know my one major breakup the hardest thing for me to do was to go out and about.

Ugh, that sucks!  Just being there for her is the best thing.  There are going to be days that she needs to be distracted and being available will be a huge help.

@MichelleMyBell: I really don’t think so, because it’s more self-help with comedy thrown in, and they’re very serious about the break up issue.
