if you’re adult enough to get married, you’re adult enough to realize your parents aren’t always right.

missrandirobot: Hi. Did you ever get married to him? Since you posted this 5 years ago, I’m wondering if you insisted with your decision to marry? I am experiencing the same dilemma right now. I’m 25. I would just like to know what you did at that time and how it is affecting your life right now? Would appreciate your response. Thanks!

missrandirobot: By the way, I am a Christian too and I’m wondering if I am also doing the right thing- deciding to get married while my mother is opposed to it. My fiancé is also a Christian. Please help me. Thx

iamcamille: if you read her most recent post, it says she is a matron of honor in a wedding. She got married, but hasn’t written anything in four years.
I’d start a new post if I were you.

Have you considered talking to your church/pastor about this? They might have some insight.
