I think these are nice dresses, but I don’t think they are dressy enough for a mother of the bride.

Not what you were asking, but I’d be very careful with modcloth. Most of their clothing is very cheaply made. Just check the reviews for the dreses your mom likes to make sure they won’t be seethrough, threadbare, or otherwise shabbily constructed.

    Both are lovely!

As you may know, ModCloth dresses often run on the shorter side. I’m 5’6″ and don’t order anything from there under 37″ in length, if I’m going to be moving around or sitting in public. Then again, I’m shy of my thighs, so to each her own!

Peridot! It is lovely. The magenta is little “My Super Sweet Sixteen” for me. I am 24 and I wouldn’t wear it!

I like them both, but the peridot one is the winner for me, seems a little more formal, wedding like. The magenta one looks like a fairly casual dress, and it’s actual name includes ‘lunch’, so I think its meant more for daytime, not evening.

The green one would suit her age best I have actually seen the green in person it’s not short. I voted for the magenta one though not sure why? I guess I was picturing me in them atfirst 🙂
