I think people have got a bit playful and and perhaps  a bit terse , but that’s what   happens when someone posts  something and almost  everybody disagrees and the OP just  keeps on restating  their position, apparently not having taken any of the replies into consideration  except to get cross at them .   

I’m sorry OP but  the ovewhelming response is that

1 A black dress at at a wedding is not taken a sign of disapproval  execpt by a very few old fashioned folks. Especially if the person in question is obviously happy and enjoying themselves.

2 It’s not really acceptable  to try  and make adults change their dress to suit you , ( tho I have seen some appalling Mother-In-Law dresses posted and  my heart went out to those  brides! )

If I were you I think I’d let it go …………..
