@belle210906: I believe the rule is no white/ivory worn to the wedding (except the bride). Unless she wants to dye the dress XD

thats so weird and cute lol at least your mom is still the same size as when she got married good for her maybe she can get her dress shortened so it doesnt look too weddingy i dont know but tell her its ur day and she already had hers.

My mother didn’t wear her wedding dress but she wore an ivory dress. She loved the style and dress but it didn’t come in any other colors. I told her it was fine. If you aren’t comfortable with it, tell her! She’s your mother, she’ll understand. And if she doesn’t, give her a potato sack to wear instead.

Unless she is planning on dyeing it, I’d tell her that it’s not the time to re-wear her dress. It’s nice that she loves her dress so much, but so do you (re: yours). I think it’s a little creepy, to be 100% honest. I don’t get why she’d think that was appropriate either.
