Have you thought about a cute pair of flats? What are your wedding colors?

Use the shoes you love for the garter and wear comfortable ones the rest of the time?

My Boyfriend or Best Friend always laughs that I’ll need platform sneakers when we get married (he’s over a foot taller then me) because I don’t think I’ll make it in sky high heels all night as much as I’d love to!

I second the flats… If I wasnt 5ft tall with no grace in flats Id definitely do it… And you can always keep a hot pair of shoes under the table… before the garter stuff slip them on and even for pictures if your doing some that might see your shoes… then when your done back to comft ballet flats!

I think for something like that the best bet is to go for a super cute flat. A friend of mine wore some from Irregular Choice for her wedding. They were beautiful. I may or may not have been stalking the website trying to find them…

Hi, I’m LittleMissMoo and I have a serious shoe problem too 🙂

I wore fabulous looking uncomfortable shoes and it was 100% worth it. Yes, I had blisters at the end of the day and could barely walk, but I wore the most fabulous shoes I’ve ever worn on the most important day of my life! I also had a pair of flats to change into, which people kept trying to make me do but I didn’t until the after party.

You’re the bride, the day will revolve around you so if you need some help walking or need to sit down a minute, so be it! Go for the fab shoes!

I am wearing flats…and they are so comfortable. Have you looked into flats? Or even balerina slippers?

anyways, don’t be so tough on yourself! you will definetly find the shoe that is perfect for you! that’s what the hive is here for!! i cant tell you how much just post lurking, and even posting up questions like this has helped me out so much!! just ask, and ye shall receive 😀

Have you seen Damn Heels ?http://www.damnheels.com/

They are folded ballet flats that come in a cute pouch. You can wear them for your whole wedding except for the garter removal and toss. You will be sitting for that anyway so it won’t matter that your gown may be a bit short with your other pair-“sexy sandals” on.

Your photos will show you in fabulous sexy shoes.

Say it with flowers! Flower sandals complement your spring outfits pe

I had the BEST shoes 🙂 Purple and matched my colors but after the ceremony I *wanted* to take them off but had my dress altered for 4″ heels so instead I had my Maid/Matron of Honor run to my room and get my rehearsal dinner shoes (also 4″ and not quite as fab but very cute nonetheless) and wore those instead….by 1a.m my feet didn’t hurt and I didn’t have blisters but my toes were pretty white and numb! haha

I ABSOLUTLY suggest getting a blister stick (bandaid makes one you can get at Target or a drugstore) because I used it and didn’t have ANY blisters at all (I usually get them on a typical “night out”)

Hi, I’m Scottielass and I am a Shoe Addict, too Wink.  Fiance says my shoe collection breeds when he’s sleeping.  So far, just one ultra hot pair of shoes for the big day, but I would just be blowing smoke to say that won’t change over the next 10 months.  I am a bargainista.  When he starts giving me grief, I just remind him a pair of my shoes is still less than one of his video games.
