Yay! A light at the end of the tunnel is always a huge relief! No matter how long that tunnel still is!

We were engaged almost a year before setting a date. I knew that I wanted Spring or early Summer, so by October of last year I knew I needed to start looking for a venue. Once that and the finances were figured out everything fell into place.

Have you seen the movie “The Five-Year Engagement”? I recommend it. It’s cute and funny, but also serious stuff. Makes you keep things in perspective.

I’ve been engaged for FIVE years.. I thought it was four, but recounted and its five, we’ll have been engaged six years when we marry. Basically, we were (and are) young, we bought a house and did some property investing – our future is pretty much set. We still don’t have a lot of money now by any means, our wedding soho uld come in under $8,000 But we have some good long term investments 🙂
