- Wedding: June 2011
So, a few weeks ago I went to a wedding invite workshop at Paper-Source, and they showed us this pretty awesome toy- a Xyron sticker machine.
I saw the wedding craft potential- it make stickers, making invites and other papercrafting a breeze.
I happened to luck out while checking Ebay, and found a woman who was less than smitten with it, and she parted ways with it for $15.50 plus $15 shipping. About a week later, I was the proud owner of the Xyron 900, which makes stickers out of items up to 9 inches wide.
But wait… there’s more.
After purchasing said machine, I started reading up on it…. this is no one-trick pony. There are cartridges that can make permanent or repositionable stickers, laminate, laminate+sticker, and laminate+magnet.
Magnets. I think you know where I’m going with this.
I quickly hopped over to Amazon and got an inexpensive magnet cartridge for $20 plus shipping.
Now, for less than $60, I can make my own magnets to go along with my Save the Dates.
The STD designs are already done, but I’m going to make magnets to pop with them anyway.
If you can find this little machine on sale or at a discount, I highly, HIGHLY recommend the investment- if nothing else, you can turn all those awesome pictures on the fridge into magnets 🙂
