lilsweetie:  Thank you so much! I had a hard time finding yellow gold to try on at the jewelry stores where I live, but I think it looks better with my skin and makes me feel so regal. lol! It’s a 7.5mm (1.5ct).

MissML01:  It looks great! May I ask what setting that is? Also the size of the stone and your finger? The coverage looks perfect!!!

sparklesauce:  i think i have answered your question on another forum but you probably dont recognize the name because i changed it but ill gladly answer your questions again…it is the sol011 setting from moissaniteco. The stone is 1 carat and size 5 finger (im actually a 4.5 but got 5 cuz my fingers tend to swell in the summer time)  here is a side view of the ring..

petitenoonie:  My friend is thinking of buying the same ring you have to propose to his girlfriend — yours are the best photos I’ve found, it looks gorgeous. I wonder if you could tell me a bit about it now that you’ve had it a while? How comfortable do you find it to wear? Does it get in the way of any of your daily activities? Would you say it is a low setting, or high? Thank you so much for any information you could provide!

Does anyone ask you if it’s a real diamond? I am interested in mossanite but selfishly am worried about what people would think. They’re beautiful stones and much more affordable. Thank you!

boofte :  I’ve never been asked! I don’t really look for opportunities to get going on the moissanite spiel, simply because I’m a bit of an introvert and not very chatty. I do, however, correct people when they call it a ‘diamond.’ Of course, that is your choice though! As for my decision to opt for moissy, I did it because I personally prefer the look over that of a diamond, so I assure you there ARE some visual differences: more firey sparkle, splintery facets ect. However, unless you’re pretty darn seasoned on the Bee, you’re unlikely to ever notice. I’ve heard of jewelers not being able to tell the difference.

heres mine. 💕 I hope this helps!

boofte :  Nope I have never been asked if it was “real” or what kind of stone it is in real life. I have had numerous compliments from random people and they just commented on how pretty it was etc. If they did ask I would let them know since I personally could care less what others think. I am very honest about why I chose moissanite and am not ashamed wearing a non diamond in my ring since it was what was best for me and not anyone else.

You may want to ask yourself if you could really feel ok without having a diamond. If you can not get over it being anything other than that, maybe just find the best diamond you can in your budget 🙂 Do what is best for you and enjoy!

Here is a picture of mine glowing in the dark xD13181020_10207832825757198_2091495880_n
