My lovely Fiance proposed last February with a gold band and told me I could pick out my own engagement ring (which was a great idea on his part!).
I knew I wanted a sapphire but I was a little overwhelemed with options. I really love colored gem stone rings, but I love the crisp look of white stones as well. I also thought I wanted a solitare – and I was leaning heavily toward a pale yellow sapphire (which I still think is gorgeous!) and I also considered a peach sapphire with a halo (OMG, so classy!!). But then I stumbled upon this beutiful 3 stone setting (I never even considered a 3 stone! Who knew!!) and it was seriously as if the heavens parted. No other ring held my attention like this one did. Now I get to have the best of both worlds – clored gems and a white stone! So, 7 months after we got engaged, I officially decided on this beauty. And she arrived last week just in time for Thanksgiving.
Post your white sapphires! I want to see them in all their glory!
Specs: 2.14 ct round cut white sapphire (7.7mm I think?); 0.2 ct princess cut blue sapphires; Finger is size 5.5
Also can I just take a moment to say that Fiance is fantastic. He’s so patient and lovely. I am a rediculously lucky human being.
