oh no, that sounds really worrying. and i have no idea why your Fiance is telling you not to worry – of course you should be worrying! She could have depression, like you said, it certainly sounds like it, and to just walk out on her family like that? that is seriously bad.  firstly, tell your Fiance to either be more supportive or to shut up, the point isn’t that she’s a grown woman, the point is that it sounds like she could be in serious trouble with her mental health, and people make very bad choices sometimes when they aren’t mentally well.

then get the word out – on facebook if you need to – that she is missing, you are very worried, and could anyone please just let you or anyone in her family know that she is ok.  If you do a post on her wall maybe one of her friends who knows where she is will be able to give you some reassurance?  you don’t need to go into detail, just post something in capital letters asking her or her friends to get in touch if they know what’s going on.

i’m sorry you’re so worried, good luck ((hugs))

I would ask the boyfriend to call the police, she could be listed as an ‘endangered missing’ since she is a mother of young children and they have no idea who the person she got in the car with is. Although people are allowed to run away with no trace by law, having her name/face out there might at least let you know where she is at that she is at least safe.

If she returns, he may want to call his county/public mental health system and see what he can do to help her get whatever it is she is going through under control.

If he won’t call the police, then you can. This is a very scary situation. I am thinking of you and I hope she is safe.

I agree that calling the police is the right choice. She can walk out if she wants to but being that no one knows who she left with there should be some kind of search for her. The police can get in contact with her and at least determine she is fine without her having to explain herself. Won’t make the hurt go away but could give some peace of mind about her well being.

@SandyThePoet: Is her boyfrind the type that wouldn’t let her take the kids? Or maybe she didn’t want them to be scared and have to updet them for a night. I am hoping it is just a little break down and she’ll be in contact with someone soon. Has any other family members heard from her?

Can you send her a text message? Tell her that you are here to support her and help her, and not to be afraid to call. It sounds like she was so overwhelmed she was at the breaking point.

@SandyThePoet: Good choice. Seriously, go see her boyfriend and then go to the police in her area and file a report. Just in case.
