Aww. Sorry they didn’t turn out how you hoped. If you’re going for the Tiffany Blue color I might suggest trying Sephora OPI “Read my Palm” I agree it’s hard to photograph sometimes and get it to show up right but here you can see my best attempt at capturing the color. I have also had some weird nail polish moments where the color just seemed “off” in certain lighting etc..don’t let it get you too stressed, your nails look great.

You should try Essie “Turquoise and Caicos”. I love that color.

This is the color with 2 coats, although I would recommend 3 coats…I was just too lazy lol

I’m sad he didn’t like the “Louboutin Nails” though :   You should do them one day just because they’re so awesome haha

OP, sorry that happened! I always find that frustrating when the colour is completely different on the nails than in the bottle!

@IzzyBear:  I second Essie Turquoise and Caicos (:

I also highly recommend China Glaze “For Audrey”. It was made as a tribute or something to Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany’s so it’s the exact colour of a tiffany’s box.

Here’s a really bad photo (it’s from our first Valentine’s together during our senior year of highschool) of my “For Audrey” nails with my Tiffany’s box + promise ring.

Here’s a picture I found on Google of the comparason between the two (:

@IzzyBear:  I love Turqouise and Caicos! It’s one of my fave Essie shades.

@badabing88:  What exactly are “Louboutin” nails? Are those the ones where the inner part of the nail (the part that hangs over the finger – the inside part) is painted red?

@badabing88:  I’m sorry they didn’t turn out well, and I don’t use nail polish much so I don’t have any good suggestions, but I just wanted to say your post was hilarious lol

I’m digging them, even if they are green! Also, i’m super jealous that you did them yourself and they look that awesome! When I do my own, it looks like a 3 year old got ahold of some nail polish and went to town.

This thread is making me want to buy some nail polish and paint my nails. And I never paint my nails. Like someone else mentioned, it looks like a 3 year old did my nails whenever I try.

But I am tempted…lol!

@badabing88:  Well then next time I go get my nails done, I’ll get them green so you’re not alone! Lol!

I think they still look good & I’m loving the accent nail. Although I was really hoping you’d do the loubie nails!

I’m so jealous of all the pretty colors. I can’t wear regular polish because it’ll chip like hell on me after 24 hours. I’m way too hard on my nails so I can only wear shellac/gel polish and the colors I have are SO boring! I need to figure out where to buy some better shades.

@EmmyGirl:  Gelish is another gel polish brand and they have TONS of really fun colors. They’re sold at professional beauty supply stores, so if you have a friend who’s licensed to do hair, skin, or nails get her/him to take you!

@badabing88:  Deal!
