@GreenEyedMoon:  True story.  Or dark sheets/comforters/towels.

You won’t be able to beat the pet hair.  TRUST ME.

I workout in black or navy blue yoga pants and I constantly go to my workout classes with cat hair on them.  My kitty is different colors of gray stripes so I get her lighter gray on me all the time and our other kitty is a tux cat so his white paw hair/chest hair gets on me.  SOOOO embarrassing.

On the flip side, if you register for a cream-colored duvet, look long and hard at the adorable, friendly, pregnant stray kitty on your doorstep a few months after the wedding, and when you realize that she’s mostly black (and thus is likely to have several kittens who are also mostly black), kick her to the curb.  Do NOT give in to her adorable green eyes, plaintive meows, and friendly disposition.  It’s just a trap set up by the Shadow Society of Felines (the nefarious group each cat is a member of from birth) to destroy ALL YOUR LINENS, since the white cats couldn’t defeat the cream duvet on their own.

lolololol 🙂 I think the obvious solution to this is to get comforters like this:

(in case you can’t see, it is covered in cats Cool)

@brandybelle:  I vacumn my house every day.  Lint roller all the chairs, sofa and everything EVERY DAY.  So unless you want to spend every second of every day with a lint roller (and still not win) I suggest you do!

When my Mom comes from work with black pants on, I still have to give her a towel to sit on because the hair is everywhere.  My cat is half dark gray and half white (in my profile pic) so basically, no matter what I do, i’m screwed.

@Regina Phalange:  LOL!

We have 2 light colored cats and black velour-upholstered chairs in the living room… worst oversight in home furnishing ever…

This is our cat, Lullabelle. She’s black, white, gray, and brown. Everything we own has her hair on it no matter what color it is, so we’re just kinda f’ed. LOVE HER, THOUGH! <3 I’d rather have my cat than nice linens haha.

@GreenEyedMoon:  lol SUCH GOOD ADVICE! Even in car shopping! My friend has black cloth interior and her WHITE pit bull’s hair is constantly ALL OVER… its inevitable.
