I ended up buying a Martina Lianna bodice earlier last year and never found a skirt to match. So here I am with the last option for a dress.
I like it, but I dont’ entirely love it. My brother thinks the dress looks unfinished and I should add a belt because the demarcation between the top and skirt is so obvious.
What do you bees think?
this is the Martina Lianna top I bought…paired w/ a skirt at the shop. I didn’t buy it then because I wasn’t entirely TOO happy w/ the skirt.
So… ultimate question. Should I just keep searching for a skirt for the Martina Lianna top or go with #1?
I’m getting married in less than 4 months.

Both are beautiful! I prefer the Martina top, though – and actually think it looks fab with the skirt pictured. (Not a huge fan of the belt, but I LOVE that top.)

Go with the dress, it looks beautiful on you and is grand without being overwhelming. It doesn’t need a belt; any additional embellishment would just clash with the dress’s already ornate top.

Oh god I LOOVE the first one, but there’s definitely a variety of skirts. I think the Hayley page layered tulle ones would look lovely with this top as well, but the first one you posted is just so classic and gorgeous. You won’t go wrong either way

Edit, sorry, I was confused.. I like the second picture the best, if you have to add a belt I dont know, we would have to see picture! 😉

I think it would look better paired with the top skirt and without the belt. The bodice is very pretty!

If you really set yourself to it, I think you have plenty of time to find a skirt you like or have one made. That top is beautiful!
The dress is lovely too, but I do prefer the top, and you already bought it, presumably because you loved it. What kind of skirt did you want? The tulle one pictured is lovely and those are easy to find, but if you know what you want and you haven’t found it, it should be fairly simple for a local seamstress or someone on Etsy to make you a skirt you will love in the time you have.

#1 is stunning, I would add a belt to that and be done! You look beautiful, stop skirt is both sophisticated and romantic Xx

I think the first dress with a thin belt would be beautiful.
I do like the top you bought too, but I agree that skirt is kind of lack luster.
Have you tried any of the skirts from BHLDN?
