I’ve been thinking about how to incorporate the “destination” feel into my wedding. We’re having the ceremony and reception at the luxury resort on the beach. I wanted to add a “fun” feeling when welcoming the guests… so here are my out of town buckets!
What do you think is missing? I’m adding the items into the sand bucket.
1 Straw Hat
1 Inflatable Lounger
1 Bottle of Aloe Vera Lotion
1 Set of glow-stick neclaces
1 Foam-Stick (folded in half, tied with tulle)

How cute! Maybe some sunglasses? But what you have is perfect too!

I forgot to mention that I’m getting all of this in bulk from the dollar store. It makes making 50 buckets very inexpensive but still cute and detail oriented!

Those are ADORABLE! You could add in some chapstick? I live in Panama City Beach so the beach is SERIOUS business here…let me think of what else you could add! 🙂 LOVE the idea!!!

Looks great! And the package seems complete to me. But if you want to add more items, maybe throw in some snacks?

Super cute! Maybe a bottle of water?

Very cute. I’m getting married the same day as you!! We’re getting hitched in Punta Cana and I am also including bug spray, tylenol, aloe, and sunscreen (we went to a travel size website that I can’t think of the name of now) and are buying it all in bulk for super cheap.
You could also include a magnet or keychain from that area as a souvenir. We’re having koozies made and are including lei’s/ Check out Oriental Trading…lots of fun and super cheap stuff there!

Very cute, but how are you getting all that stuff to your destination?? I don’t know how far you’re going but I feel like you can’t fit very many noodles (that’s what I always called them) into a suitcase, but I’m not a very good packer.. Or maybe you’re buying them there? Tell me your secrets!

What a fun and cute idea! I just had one question though. What are your guests going to do with the foam noodles after they check out of the resort? I imagine they wouldn’t take them back home with them. It looks like it would be cumbersome to travel with that either in a car or on a plane. Would they just leave them at the resort?
