I cant beleive that they wont come to your wedding.Try talking to them at least one more time before the wedding and if they still dont come, then maybe its just not worth the drama that might have happened if they did come.U never.Try your best but remember that its your special day and to be happy.:)

My husband has not talked to his side of the family in 11 years – it feels weird to have made a list that consists of very few for him but he says there are some things that are not worth the mental anquish over, this is one of them I guess. He is having a hard time as well with the fact that the 1 brother he does talk to, who he would love to have in the wedding (they are only one year apart and have been threw so much in life together because of the mother) he is now a alcholic, who can’t function a few hours without liquor – let alone a full day of pictures, ceremony and reception etc ….  Honey doesn’t want him drunk (or even “happy drunk”) during the day and yet, how do we make him a part of our day (have him stand up with his brother) without it causing an issue or scene??? Help anyone on suggestions, because I am tired of feeling stomach sick over this …… even hearing options would be great … thanks
