I looked over and she was gleefully trying to eat the entire cake with her head fully submerged in the frosting, and her fluffy little butt sticking up in the air. She was quite difficult to remove, and tried to bite me so she could eat more. I finally extracted her and she was covered in sticky, goey chocolate frosting. She hates baths, but has had to have 3 baths since yesterday afternoon, and will be getting another one shortly. Chocolate frosting sure is hard to get out of feathers!
I hope she felt that her first (and last) taste of chocolate was worth it. She seemed quite pissed when I took the chocolate cake away from her. I don’t blame her. I’m not sure that life is worth living without chocolate. 🙂
Anyone’s pets do anything funny recently?

I’m so disappointed that there’s no pic! Lol!

I wish I had a pic! But chocolate is pretty poisonous for birds so at the time, I was more concerned about getting her out of the cake. Lol, and then I chucked her under the faucet to take a bath. She was SOOOOO not happy, and I washed away a lot of the evidence of her cuteness. 🙂

@lawyerchick13: I am seriously cracking up right now. I love when i catch my dogs neck deep in something they know they shouldn’t be getting into.

Oh my goodness. Birds do some funny things. My mom’s parrot also hates baths with a white hot passion!
@BruinBeeMPH: this is too funny!
