I got married in July 2012 and Alicia Cohen was my photographer. She was very flaky with her responses and communication during the entire time we communicated. In the beginning of May 2013, she confirmed that she was placing the order for my wedding album. She said it should arrive in 4-8 weeks.
It still hasn’t arrived. I’ve contacted her via email, txt, phone call, facebook, messaging……… nothing. Her voicemail is full and I haven’t gotten any response.
I don’t know if something is wrong or family issues or what – but isn’t this a ridiculous? What am I supposed to do at this point? Our contract states that “Print orders shall be delivered at most within eight weeks of order being placed. Album orders are delivered no more than 12 months of orders being placed.”
We haven’t gotten our print so she’s past due on that aspect. And as for the 12 months… that’s also ridiculous but I can’t act on it until May 2014.
Please, please… does anyone know where she is or have any advice for me? I’m desperate :(:(

@wkerns17: It does sound a little fishy that she isnt responding to any of your messages. Do you have contact info of where she lives? She should have at least your prints right after your wedding. why cant you act on it until may 2014?

Can you pop into her office? There must be an address somewhere.
Maybe seeing you in person (and bring a copy of your contract to show her) will help to spur her on.

to be honest, I don’t know why you went with her in the first place. She has scathing reviews and you’re not the first that she has done this to.

I would definitely go to her office. If she still doesn’t respond, can you sue her to get your money back? Did you pay with her on your credit card? You might be able to file a dispute with your card.

Unfortunately, I don’t think you’re the first bride on Wedding Bee to be treated so unprofessionally by this photographer:
I also agree there are several reviews which are downright appalling! However, I know several brides who end up booking vendors before they know where to look for reviews online.
This is a great lesson for others in always making sure you check reviews before booking vendors. I’m so sorry your photographer has been so difficult to work with!
