I brought Arthur home from getting neutered yesterday, and he was forced to wear the cone of shame:
It’s a good thing, since he is constantly trying to lick his incision. But I feel so bad for him because he’s relegated to just licking the inside of the cone.
I just had to share this pitiful picture with you all 🙂

Awwwww, poor thing! His expression totally says, “Why are you subjecting me to this humiliation?” He’s a beautiful kitty though, looks very fluffy and cuddly.

@MsGolightly: Oh dear…My sweet Vivian had to wear the same cone after being spayed and declawed 2 weeks ago. It was pathetically cute. And by some miracle, she didn’t fight it at all. Ofcourse, I think the drugs had something to do with that. lol

Oh noz the cone of shame! He doesn’t seem like he minds, though 🙂

@AudzinLuv: Haha Yes, I see that in his expression as well. The vet tech yesterday said that every time she’d walk by his cage, he’d flop on his back so she’d rub his belly. So he is quite fluffy and cuddly 🙂

@JsDragonfly: That’s a perfect description – “pathetically cute”, lol. I hope little Vivian made a complete recovery!
@ejs4y8: Ya, he doesn’t fight it tooooo much. I just give him extra lovin’ on his neck area, and he LOVES that. He’ll fall asleep in my hands if I just rub his neck and under his chin.
