My husband called me from his work to tell me he has ran to the bathroom 4 times since he has been there. I have just made trip 3 or 4 myself. I do not know what could be wrong? Too Much Information but my poop isn’t completely runny/watery but not totally solid either. I didn’t ask my husband if his was or not. We haven’t ate anything that was completely the same today, that I know of. We both got some food from a gas station today. But not the same thing. I got a ham & cheese stick & he got a beef & cheese stick. Other than that at home we both ate tv dinners. But again, different ones. He had a pizza one & I had a chicken one. Is there anything else that could be causing this other than bad food?
Thanks bee’s & sorry for the TMI!

@cr6zy: Could have been!
It wasn’t food they cooked. It was like these:

Could just be a stomach virus that you’ve both shared – not food related? Poor things. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated!

@jaguar: Maybe that could be it! I haven’t heard of one going around. I hope its just one of those 24 hour bugs. I HATE being sick. My diabetes only makes it ten times worse. :/
Thanks! I’ll try & drink as much water as I can!

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: I hope it’s over soon! I get them ALL THE TIME (thanks to working with a class of 6 and 7 year olds – lovely!) and they’re super frustrating.

@jaguar: Oh my I would say you do! I know that’s how it always is for anyone who works with small children or even in middle school/high school. It seems to always be worse with smaller children do to runny noses being whiped with little fingers then spread from child to child. lol
Thanks–I do also!

It might not be food related. It could be a bug like norovirus which is not food related but comes from something like someone not washing their hands after going to the bathroom.

That happened to us not too long ago. He was in the bathroom more than I was, but it was ridiculous. It didn’t last too long and we were both feeling fine the next day. I hope the same for you! Feel better.

Also keep in mind that it could still be food both of you ate together days ago. Some food poisonings take 3 or so days to fully kick in. The treatment’s the same either way: plenty of fluids and TLC. Hope you feel better soon. GI illness is the worst!

Yall probably picked up a virus more than a week ago ( think public places) and now are enjoying its expression 🙂
Get some gatorade/powerade. Eat some saltines or easily digestible foods. avoid fats and rest up! Keep us updated how your doing!

@cr6zy: I love them! lol
& Thanks everyone, yes we have drank & ate things of them same. Milk, soda, dinners I have cooked, ect. My husband is worse today he keeps saying he has the flu (but he doesn’t have a temp.) But he is ALWAYS this way when he is sick. Each time he “has the flu.” lol
I have woke up feeling better BUT I am now on my period & taking care of my sick husband on top of still running to the toilet a few times. Nothing like yesterday though–Thanks bees!
