I never trust anyone with my hair, and I never wear makeup, so I didn’t really want to look like I was wearing a lot of it. It was kind of humbling doing it myself. It was just me and my parents’ at their home, I didn’t get ready with the bridemaids, and I think it helped me stay so calm too. There wasn’t a lot of people fussing over me before the ceremony
Thank you. My husband was that guy I never thought I’d end up with, but always wanted to (and funny enough the same goes for him). We were friends for 3 years before we even started dating, and we were completely clueless that the other had feelings for them lol. I’m so glad it worked out though. He’s my best friend!
Thank you! I tell him about all the compliments the ladies on weddingbee give him, and he just finds it hard to believe that woman see him as attractive lol. He’s so silly!
The jacket is separate. But I had it made with the same lace that’s in the dress so it matches perfectly! I had showing my back, so I thought a bolero jacket would be a perfect remedy

So I finally got the last of my photos. And I have a few more detail pictures to share with you all.
The hair piece I made.
Our rings on my piano. Love these.
Place cards were color coded. Purple was for Chicken, Dark green for Salmon, and Light green for Vegetarian. My sister-in-law does scrap booking, and she helped me mount all the cards.
Ceremony space was so cozy! I loved the wood and stone, and all the lights drapped from the ceiling. So gorgeous. I loved our whole castle venue really! There were all sorts of medieval touches (thrones, suits of armor, fireplace, etc).
Ceiling draps…so pretty
One of the suits of armor outside the reception hall.
Wall hanging and gorgeous curtains in the reception hall.
The center pieces I made, in the dim light of the reception hall
Better picture of our cake and toppers
And one more adorable picture of me and the husband.

OMG! I LOVE my dress so much! If I had a reason to wear it again, I totally would! And it cost less than $300! Yay for being frugal
Thank you so much. I’ve been wearing glasses since the 2nd grade, and my husband loves a girl in glasses. I had to buy an appropriate “formal” pair to wear on the big day 🙂
