I am a much bigger fan of the four prong.

futuremrsjones2019 :  I’m curious about that too.

I like the 6 prong, but only slightly more, so I wouldn’t bother changing it.

Both are lovely! I prefer four-prong but, I have a four-prong so that’s probably biased of me, haha!

Both are beautiful. I’d go with the one that made the least amount of work for me.

I’ve always preferred 6 prong solitaires, but with your setting I prefer the 4.

When I look at the four-prong ring, I see the stone and the band. When I look at the six-prong, I see the prongs. If you want the focus to be on the stone and band, I’d keep it as-is, the other one is too busy/distracting, you lose track of where you should be looking, imo.

Against the band I think the 4 prong looks nicer.

I like 4 prong, myself. The 6 looks great with this ring too though, which surprised me because i normall always prefer 4 prong no matter what. However, as I said, I think the 4 prong looks best and is sometimes easier to have a Band sit flush because there’s isn’t a prong in the way.

I prefer the whole look of the 6 better, but at the same time they are both beautiful so it doesn’t really matter. No one else is going to care whether it’s 6 prong or 4 prong except you so if you want to change it go ahead.

I usually prefer six prongs on a solitaire but because your band is so special I feel that the four prongs looks way better. Such a gorgeous ring!!

Adore the 4! I think it shows off the stone better. 🙂

I normally love 6-prong, especially for rounds and soltaires. But in this case I think the 4 prong looks much better; you can barely notice the prongs at all, where as on the 6 prong ring they do stand out.

Maybe give it some time to get used to it? Once you have picked out your wedding band you can think about resetting the stone if you still feel the same.
