I actually think #1 would be more comfortable for full-day wear. #2 has noooo give to it, it looks like it would be stiff and tough to move in.

I agree with PP. Your gown looks elegant and comfortable enough to wear throughout the day. Plus, the sleeves will offer extra support and comfort.

I can’t imagine feeling more “free” in a tighter gown like that 2nd one. The first doesn’t look uncomfortable to me. Mine was bigger and I was fine for 8 hours in it.

To me a reception dress should be much more casual, like no train. A second wedding dress seems like it would be just as cumbersome to move around in. Why not look at a bridesmaid dress as a second wedding gown almost all of them come in white or ivory.
