Aw! What a precious little girl! It’s so awesome that she got such a happy/loving home with you!

Fiance and I are planning on adopting a rescue after the wedding/move to another state in August. Both of our families for whatever reason are really into buying purebreds but we both really want a rescue!

OMG she is adorable! People like you are the reason I still have faith in humanity. I have four rescue cats and wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂

What a sweatheart! And the dog as well!! The wonderful thing about rescues is that they know they were rescued and that they are loved. They have a level of appreciation that my spoiled (non-rescue) pets do not. She looks so happy!

s00n2bemrsb:  She is sooooo sweet! What a difference! She looks super happy!

Those mange cases are sad because it has to be so uncomfortable and you know they’ve been living with it for a while when they are at Annie’s point.

I currently have 3 rescues. Nothing so dramatic as yours, that I know of. I don’t know the history of 2 of them. My heart dog, whom I had to recently-ish say good bye to, was strictly an outdoor dog. No human contact. She used to run away from her pen to go hang with a neighbor dog because she was so lonely. Finally the owner realized it wasn’t very nice for her and gave her up to me. She was awesome!

Good job, she looks great. Much happier and healthier than when you first got her.

This is amazing! She’s a beauty! It warms my heart knowing that there are people out there trying to make a difference in the lives of animals. There are so many dogs, like your Annie, that are abused by backyard breeders and people with no heart.

I plan on adopting a rescue once Fiance and I are married and established! From what I can tell, rescues are saved from a horrible demise, but they also save their human(s), in return. 🙂
