Oh my gosh! I love them!
I think these will make the pictures look awesome, I have NEVER seen this done.

do it! i am going to do this too.. i felt a bit silly and had one around the house and best man came over and was like “is this for the wedding?” sheepishly i was like “yeah maybe,.. i dunno” he was like “yeah i could totally wave this around” then for the next half an hour he was waving it around smacking my FH with it, so now the only problem i have is to make sure the kiddies dont use them to wack each other.. lol

Do it! I know how easy it is to be overwhelmed BUT if you park yourself in front of the TV for one night & do the whole batch, you’ll get ‘er done. Mine were a similar width, etc, and looked fabulous in pictures!

As for the size/width, I went really narrow. Each ribbon was 6mm wide & I had three per wand. I could’ve been easy and just tied them on, but I hot glued them to make sure the ribbon would stay. I’ve seen awesome looking WIDE ribbons used, but our little fine ones turned out nicely, I think. Our guests seemed to love them! πŸ™‚

oh yeah and im just using the thicker kebab sticks for mine instead of wooden dowls.. might spray paint them if i can get off my butt! πŸ˜‰
