check it out! i am soooo excited. i have stalked stone fox bride for a long time. they are amazing.
My husband and I met in the ER at St. Vincent's Hospital in 2008. It was 4 am and I was in my pajamas and my friend was very sick. He flirted outrageously and my friend and I jokingly nicknamed him "hot doctor 2." There was already a "hot doctor 1." It turned out that he was a model and studying to be a paramedic. When we left I invited him to an opening at the gallery I worked for and never expected to see him again. When I walked in to the gallery that night he was there. We've been together since then. We were informally engaged for a few months before the actual proposal but hadn't told our families since we couldn't afford a ring at the time. On my birthday in 2011 I woke up to the first kick from our son. I was 5 months pregnant at the time. We had breakfast and he took me to my favorite place in the world, the Metropolitan Museum of Art. When we were leaving we were standing in the entry hall hugging and I said "wouldn't this be the greatest time and place to properly propose?" He laughed and asked me to marry him. I kept asking him if it was real because I had only been teasing when I said that. Afterwards we went and bought our son's first clothing at petit bateau then we went to the Carlyle to share a glass of champagne to celebrate. We ended the day with a small birthday dinner with friends at Bacaro. This ring is one that we made this year combining 3 stones that my mother gave us. Each stone is slightly different just like our little family. It's perfect for us. #stonefoxrings
