Ouch!  I would start taking it off at night if I were you.

I sleep with mine on, but I’ve never injured myself because of it.  Haha

I often turn my ring backwards at night (so that the diamond is in my fist kinda).  It seems to have saved several scratches.

lol… wow. Imprinted on your FI’s forehead??  That’s impressive.  I cant say that my rings have ever been a problem when sleeping.  I sleep with all my jewlery on, earrings, necklace, bracelets, and rings.

Sounds like it’s time to get a ring bowl.  No more sleeping with your ring on since it’s causing hetic in your life.

@kybride2012:  I haven’t hurt myself…yet and I am a total clutz! However I poked my Fiance in the eye the other night as I was reaching for a spoon, in my defense he moved Embarassed.

I used to take it off to sleep because I thought I would do exactly what you did however Fiance would get sad everytime I did like I was rejecting him or something.

I’m sorry but I laughed when I read that your Fiance woke up with an imprint on his forehead.  That sucks that’s happening though!  Take that bad boy off when you sleep!

I have to take my ring off every night. I can’t stand sleeping or showering with jewelry on. Sounds like you need to take yours off at night too!

I can’t stand sleeping with my ring, I have accidentally in the past and I always worry about this happening to me! I’ve scratched the SO a few times with it on accident and thats when I realize I still have my ring on lol. Definitely time to take it off while you sleep.

I always wear my ring when i sleep and i haven’t had a problem YET. I’m more clumsy when i’m awake i guess. lol. I’ve got a marquise so the top and bottm are nice and pointy – i’ve scratched myself a few times. I’ve also scratch Fiance accidentally a few times. The worst is when it spins and i dont realize it and i’m just like casually running my hands on my arms or my face and the next thing i know i got a nice red line. lol

@kybride2012:  The title of this post makes me giggle.

I haven’t hurt myself but I have scratched others with my ring.  I talk with my hands and can be very animate (read: arms flail when I’m excited) and have scratched those who have been in my path.

Mine does the same. This is why I will soon be upgrading to a bezel set. Makes me sad.
