I decided a while ago that I wanted a two-tone white/rose gold wedding band. However, I also want bling, so some channel set diamonds maybe, but not all the way around the band.
Anyway I have been looking everywhere and can’t find some so I very *badly* photoshopped two rings together to make the ring I have in my head! I am thinking of taking this pic to a jeweler to make it.
I will probably end up wearing my wedding band alone a lot due to my job (healthcare, my diamond on my ering gets in the way alot), hence why I want something that will look pretty special just by itself.
Tell me what you think. Is it too busy with the rose gold/white gold and diamond??
(Btw the ring part is copied from one of the rings on the Tiffany website… And sorry it’s so crap, I’m no photoshopper that’s for damn sure!! hahaha)

I think it is a beautiful band. Just get it done if that is what you like. Or if you have time go around a few stores see how it looks on your hand. One store that I tried had several in the rose gold with small diamonds style, and you haven’t got much white gold shown so isn’t a big leap to imagine it from there.
It’s very similar to mine, so I’m biased, although mine is just rose gold (engagement ring to rose and white gold) and doesn’t have the solid edging more open on the sides, almost like a cog look from side on. I’m really really REALLY not a bling person but it is slim and just the right balance between beingn interesting enough but not attention seeking.
One jeweller told me that rose gold would make the diamonds look yellow or dull, but I got someone else to make my rings and that just isn’t true – I think the rose and white gold works beautifully together – the rose contrasts nicely against the white on white of diamond/white gold and in my case normally pale/sometimes tanned skin tone.

@Sanna: Thanks for your comment, that’s a good idea about trying on just rose gold ones to get a general feel.
Your rings sound lovely!! Have you got any pictures?

I love your design. It’s really neat, it’s unique, and it’s something you want 🙂 I’m not sure how I feel about all these jewellers and their “professional” opinions… They don’t have to wear the pieces they make for other people, after all.

I love it. If I were to change one thing it would be to make the diamonds go all the way around (like an eternity band) in case it spins. But if you don’t like that style then go with what you have.
I have a rose gold band and a platinum and diamond band that I wear with my e-ring. I LOVE the mixed metals look.

I really love it, just the way it is! I’ve never seen anything like it.

I love it. It is beautiful and will definitely look special on its own!

I like the two-tone! It’s not too busy at all.

it’s a very unique and interesting design!
I’m not crazy about the way the middle part (the white gold part) sticks out. I think it would be improved if it was a tad bit lower, so the rose gold bands stick out and the white gold is recessed.

Thanks for everyone’s comments.
I didn’t want the eternity style as I would rather only have diamonds halfway around, I don’t mind if it spins. I’m also one of those paranoid people that likes to spin my ring upside-down when I’m in a dodgy area 😉 haha.
We have a friend who’s a great jeweller. I might take it to him and see what he says. I definitely want the white gold to show through, so i guess it will just be a matter of seeing them best way to do that.
Thanks!! 🙂 🙂

It’s perfect!! As is! Beautiful!

The only worry I would have is that it will be more expensive to get it redipped, because they have to avoid all of the rose gold areas. I’m not sure what the price difference would be, but that might make it more expensive in the long run.
