WOW your ring is absolutely FLAWLESS!! I am obsessed. But that being said, when comparing it to your inspiration pictures (mostly the first one) I do think it’s a bit thinner.

bklyn18 :  Wow! That is sooo stunning! In my honest opinion, I think that is a beautifully made halo. Not too much metal, good size diamonds but not teeny tiny, and doesn’t detract from the center stone. It looks perfect to me!

It’s beautiful!! It’s definitely thinner than the inspo pics, but is it really worth more time and money to get it fixed? That’s ultimately what you have to decide.

bklyn18 :  omg omg!!!! It’s absolutely stunning!! Congrats. I think it looks beautiful. the halo is thinner than the band But I think it looks well balanced and would look off if the band was thinner than halo imo. I think if you have a chunky halo you need to have a chunky band or the same size as the halo at least, but that’s me. I’m so happy to see it!! Made my day. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜

It’s gorgeous! I personally love the proportion of the halo to the rest of the ring. It’s honestly quite dificult to depict if the halo or band is thinner. Super cute!

It’s beautiful, but the thinner halo is definitely a very different look than the wider, more chunky halso from your inspiration pics.

I’m a perfectionist and I think it would bother me every time I looked at the ring, so I would be sending it back to be corrected.

I’m going to give you the advice I wish I had followed when I got my engagement ring. If there’s something about your ring you don’t like now, have it fixed so it’s what you want. An engagement ring is a big purchase for many of us. You deserve to have what you want.

I agree with misslucy – while the ring is lovely, you were going for a very specific style, and this isn’t quite it. It would bother me too.

bklyn18 :  Out of curiosity, did you specifically discuss with the jeweler the size diamonds you wanted in the halo?

Yes it is thinner than your inspo pics, but I think it looks amazing! The finger coverage is swoon worthy, and I think the size of the halo perfectly accents your gorgeous center stone without taking away from it at all. Stunning.

Its a beautiful ring, as are the inspo rings too, if you are anything like me it is going to bother you for the rest of your life if you dont change the halo to the type that you prefer. Just do it and then you wont ever have to think about it again.

Also, the time it takes to send it back is nothing in the span of a lifetime. It will be worth it ๐Ÿ™‚

Otherwise you are probably going to end up sending it away to do the same changes anyway in a few years time…
