Sometimes it can take as long as 2 weeks depends on the company! We are Yellow gold sisters!! Beautiful ring! Congrats!

It depends on the jeweler. I’ve had rings take two weeks. Last week,I had one done in one day. (Had to get it sized up, dropped it off Monday and picked it up Tuesday. So happy it’s not in it’s box still.)

Usually it’s probably about a week. Are you taking it to a Goldsmith/custom jeweler or a store? Some stores, like Zales, send them out. I’d be a bit more wary of that.

@lalita:  It took 3 days at my local jeweler but he does it himself in house. So it will depend on if they can do it locally or send it off, that can take up to 2-3 weeks. Your ring is stunning hopefully you won’t have to be without it too long!

Just saw your post and I bet it will be done fairly quick!

I think it depends. If you have a relationship with the family jeweler you mentioned it could be really quick–we know the owner of a local Jewellery store so when we went in they sized my ring in 2 hours! I think the standard is 2-4 weeks though

I had a fashion ring resized a few years ago and it took about 5 days to a week at Jared’s

It really depends on the jeweler and how busy they are. I’ve had it take a week long, but one jeweler told me to go get coffee or something to eat if we are hungry and he’ll be done in 1-2 hours. I would ask around if you are not limited to a certain place because you bought it from there. Ypurs should be easy too, it’s a solitaire, they don’t need to mess with a pave band making sure all the tiny stones are secure and in place.

Same day or next day where I go. Just call and ask your jeweler.

It really depends on the jeweler. Mine always had it back to me the next day or withing 2-3 days if he’s really busy.  Yours is a plain solitaire band so it shouldn’t take long at all.  Beautiful ring, by the way!

congratulations! So pretty!

My ring took a week to resize, but like the others mention, it is likely to depend on factors like how busy the jeweller is, and how many staff work there.

I’m assuming it depends, but I went through my custom jeweler for resizing (also down a half size) and I got mine back in 4 days.

I have my Grandma’s ring resized and it took a week. I think it depends on the jeweler and their work load.

The ring turned out AMAZING! So classic and lovely on your hand.
