Soapy water? I have put rings on a different finger getting them stuck, that’s what I used.  Sorry ๐Ÿ™

I am so sorry, that jeweler was just wrong!

Try butter, dish soap, or anything else slippery.  If all else fails, try putting your hand in warm warm water and try to get the metal to expand.

Good luck

cold, soapy water?

the coldness will make your fingers shrink a bit, soapyness will help slip off your hand

soak your hand in ice water to get your fingers to shrink down a bit!  Then i’d suggest some sort of lubrication (maybe olive oil?)

Don’t panic!  It only makes it worse!

Hold your finger under cold water to help with the swelling.

ice cubes or run it under cold water to shrink your finger and theN use some olive oil for lubrication to get it off?

That sucks ๐Ÿ™ I would take it back and demand it be resized for free. Good luck !

first off, take a few deep breaths. you WILL get it off (and should prob get it sized up after you do!).

this happened to me after trying on one of my mom’s rings, and my finger was red and swollen all day after i got it off, but it DID come off. here’s what i did: i ran my hand under very cold water so my finger would shrink and used a little soap as a lubricant and just slowly worked it off. it can be painful and feel like there’s no way it will come off, but you will get it! lots and lots of cold water!

Cold tap to take the puffy down. then soapy water ๐Ÿ™ I’ve just had to put up with the spinning. My jeweler suggested a ring snuggle. But you’re gonna have to take itback ๐Ÿ™

@Fantastagirl:  then maybe just try to relax and calm down for a few hours, unless there is an immediate danger of losing circulation in your finger
