After getting engaged I was so baffled about what kind of wedding ring I wanted. I knew I’d need something curved because my e-ring sits low to my finger, but I still wanted something I could wear alone. I didn’t want to get too blingy either, since my e-ring is already a statement and I know diamonds are $$$$. I had no idea what I would do til I went to the jeweler. Well it turns out that a straight gold band is more expensive than one with diamonds, because the cost of gold is really inflated right now. So more diamonds = less gold. Also, once I saw my e-ring with a diamond band I almost couldn’t catch my breath, not to be dramatic or anything. So I just wanted to share that experience, because I know seeing lots of pictures helped me when I was searching. Plus I know we all love ring pics whenever possible. Have a look-see.

I actually like the curved band alone when you turn it that way! congrats on solving your problem!!!

Thanks all! I’m pretty excited about it. 😀 And yes, the jeweler mentioned to me that any curved band worn alone looks better when it’s “flowing off the finger”. I agree, if you wear it the other way, it makes it look like something is missing.

It looks lovely. Both rings look fab together, I love your engagement ring too. I have a blue stone engagement ring too.
