Sorry the pics are so massive! Idk how to make them smaller!
Here goes: My fiance proposed the 23rd of December with this ring on the end of a fishing pole! Were big-time outdoors people and our first real date was me asking HIM if he wanted to go fishing! lol. I think he fell for me right then and there!
We had wanted to get engaged for a really long time, especially after we were (and still are) in a position that puts us 1200 miles away from each other. We are both students and now recent grads so we don’t have a ton of money!
I started looking for other options and ring-stalking on the bee and all the wonderful posts, reviews, and pictures helped fiance and I decide that moissanite would be the way to go!
When the time came to buy we kept noticiing that the Amora moissanites were selling out and the restock date continued to come and then be extended. Fiance wanted to wait but I KNEW I wanted moissanite and that if we waited too long there might not even be any forever brilliant left to buy!
We decided on (well I decided :p) that ENG163a would be the one and let me tell you…the pictures on the site do ZERO justice! My ring is 500 times more beautiful than I EVER would have imagined. It sparkles CONSTANTLY inside and out. When the sun hits it, you can barely even look away. I cant even take accurate pictures of how sparkly it is bc my camera just doesnt catch it right. The Moissanite is 1.25 equivalent round brilliant and its pure pretty white 99% of the time. Every once in awhile at a certain angle or certain light it will get kind of “muted” like…just not as sparkly and maybe has a little color but even at its worst I would take this over a diamond ANY DAY. I have NO regrets! I get compliments constantly, no jewler has given me any issues and nobody besides close family and friends knows its not a diamond.
We’ve had people ask if he went into debt bc it looks like a $7500 ring.
I just cant say enough good things.
but I will be honest, 4 of my little diamonds around the underside of the halo (last pic) fell out about 2 mos after having it. I went to have the rest of the priongs looked at and the jewler said the rest were fine and that these 4 may have fallen out bc they are a tension set with the band. I decided that im just going to have those spots filled and stamped with white gold. The jewler said he could hardly even tell if that was just the design or if they had fallen out. The warantee DOES NOT cover this. Just FYI. The ONLY thing the warauntee covers is the Moissanite stone itself. I dont mind breaking the warauntee bc id rather have the ring my love actually put on my finger than have it sent back and replaced….even thought Ive heard they wont do that anyway.
Not a biggie for me. I love the ring way too much and wouldnt give it back if someone tried to make me!
