bugsmomma15 :  So not totally related, but my mom’s cat once stole her work cell phone and she found it three months later in a basket of mittens. My advice would be to keep looking – if you know the rings are in your house, could your son have woken up and thrown them somewhere?

There’s always hope!

My husband lost his ring in the ocean. I posted on this site and someone found it. It’s a bunch of old men with metal detectors. They love to help.

I would rip the recliner apart.

bugsmomma15 :  I would check the chair. I would rattle it and see if it makes noises. My DH’s college chair ate cellphones all the time. Thank god we learned the one place they all fell. It was extremely difficult to get to, and I would swear they werent in there.

Also, could have stuck to clothing and getting put in the wash. Check clothes, pockets, anywhere you store laundry, etc.

Check your vacuum cleaner as well. Do you have pets that could have gotten them?  I hope you find them soon!

When I was in high school my class ring disappeared off my dresser and I searched EVERYWHERE for it.  It turned up 15 years later when I moved all my old furniture out of my mom’s house.  It had been batted (by my cat) up around and in the feet of my desk- I couldn’t find it when looking around and under the desk, only found it when the desk was picked up.

Good luck!  I’d be heart broken.

Hmm, you probably already would have noticed but have you made sure it’s not in your washer or dryer?
