I gave my girls a bath this afternoon and took my ring off and put it on the bathroom sink (like I always do) For some unimaginable reason I forgot to put them back on afterwards. This evening it finally dawned on me that I forgot to put my rings back on. (Having a 5 and 3 year old it is not a good idea to leave valuables laying around-especially in their bathroom!) I went in there and they were gone. My heart absolutely sunk. That is a horrible feeling and I kept imagining my beautiful rings laying in the yard or in a thing of play-dough, flushed down the toilet, or whatever other horrible thing a toddler might do. I ran to Darling Husband and said “I have a big problem, I can’t find my rings!). He just looked at me and I could tell he knew where they were. He admitted that he found them on the sink and put them in my jewelry armoire. I have a new and even greater sympathy for women who loose their rings. That made me feel like I was going to throw up. I am so, so thankful that my rings are back on my finger where they belong.

Yikes! Once at a hotel, I had taken my e-ring off (wasn’t married yet) and left it on the counter while I took a shower. While blow drying my hair, I knocked it off with the cord, and my puppy promptly snatched it up and ran to the other room. I kept picturing myself rifling through his poop later, but he dropped it.

@Linz1231: Oh my gosh, that is hilarious in a completely scary kind of way.

@MrsFuzzyFace: It was kind of funny. I mean, I OBVIOUSLY would have been able to get it back, but really, who wants to do that….thankfully he dropped it as soon as the word “treat” was mentioned.

I know how you feel. I can feel when my ring isn’t on…without actually feeling it, if that makes sense. I just know the weight difference or something. When I notice that it’s not on, I get one of those adrenaline surges of fear. It’s an awful feeling!

@MrsFuzzyFace: So glad you found them! My Fiance pulled a trick on me one day too. It was so not very nice, but I was really glad he had it!
