Hi bees-
I finally figured it out-here is a picture of my rings. The top is my engagement ring and the bottom is my wedding band. I’m not sure why there are so many colors reflecting in the diamonds-it looks like multi-colored stones, but they are not. My engagement ring is a new piece. I really like clusters now (hated them before…amazing how our tastes change over time!) and my fiance decided on this one because with me having 5 year old boy/girl twins-he said "I’m engaged to three of you, not one of you". My wedding band is an older piece-found in a local antique store and it came from an estate sale. I love them together-I don’t know anyone who has anything remotely resembling anything that I have. I work with children with Autism so I didn’t want anything huge or high profile on my finger. My first wedding-I had a "largeish" solitaire with a swirl kind of wrap over and under-like I said-my tastes have changed. My fiance took some convincing to look at other types of rings-he wanted a single diamond on my finger. We looked at rings together and he went back and picked out one from what we had chosen. So…here they are. I’m sure they are not everyone’s taste and I’ve gotten some negative comments, which I am trying to brush off. I love my rings! Sorry it’s such a poor quality picuture!

The easyist way I know to make something smaller is use InfranView… it can be downloaded here http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm.
Then go to Image -> Resize and make is smaller π

Alicherri1, I just tried that, but my McAffee popped up saying that it was a bad idea to download it. Anyone else have any ideas on how to make this file smaller so I can share it with all of you?

I email them using the Mac mail program to myself or upload them to my blog and then download them from my blog again. Works every time!

You can choose to edit the picture (part of the right click menu), then choose the stretch/skew option and change both of the numbers to 25%. Then save as, and rename the picture.

Liz – they are soooo beautiful! That’s so neat that your e-ring is new & your wedding ring is antique….they look like they were made for one another!

Beautiful! The reason why the colors showed up is because of your ring’s "fire". I guess when you took the pic the flash dispersed the light in your diamonds. Dispersed light shows up as flashes of rainbow colors. Gotta love that sparkle!
