So i’ve tried on many dresses and changed my mind several times. I’ve toyed around with buying used dresses in order to save money but was nervous about the risks (would it be the right size, fit, color?) So I found a dress on ebay and just knew immediately that it was the one (even though i hadnt tried it on). It’s a Sottero and Midgley from a few years ago but it is absolutely amazing and exactly what I wanted. Just wanted to share…
Also, if anyone has any ideas about bras and necklaces i’d love to hear them, I can go braless but would prefer not to. As for a necklace, im wondering if i need one or will it detract from the beauiful neckline?

@WNYBride704: yes! that dress is fab, I love it! It’s sparkly and floaty at the same time.
The top looks a tad big on you, but it fits nicely. There’s room for a dressmaker to take up the straps a bit and you’ll be a bit better covered. Not that anything looks inappropriate, ti’s pretty sexy but not porno-sexy.

It’s a beautiful dress and you look stunning in it. I agree with the pp. Take the dress to an experienced wedding dress seamstress for advice, but I think it needs to be lifted at the shoulder seams just a bit.

I don’t care for necklaces with straps and a veil. I love statement earrings and maybe a bracelet. I, myself, only like necklaces with strapless and no veil. Jmo. I love love your dress!

what a great find you look fab!!!! Since the dress has straps I would opt for dramatic earrings and bracelet instead.

@WNYBride704: gorgeous dress!! i had a vneck dress too and went throught he necklace dilemma – i went without as i think it does take away from the neckline. as a PP said – go with some statement earrings! i would also go braless but get some cups sewn into the bodice. you look stunning!x

As far as a bra goes, I would just get cups sewn in. I had that done and it even was good support for my DD chest, I couldn’t imagine wearing an actual bra, I would have been miserable!
I think skipping the necklace would be perfect just because that neckline is SO stunning!
