Thanks to all who posted advice. I wanted a lace gown with pink underlay and so I found one. I added a detachable skirt. Today I decided between tulle and organza skirt and chose the organza because it looked a little richer with the lace and fell nicely.
Recognize the belt, bees? I bet you do! Where is it from!? 🙂 After all my ordering and matching belts etc., this ballet pink matched perfectly.
Question about the top…you can see the sweetheart neck is still being pined and altered — it looks odd, because she just cut it and is sewing in. The skirt needs to be attached as well. I’m looking for opinions on what to do up top.
Using the organza, should I make a one shoulder piece that attached to the top of the dress? Or cap sleeves?

I don’t think you need to add a thing…it looks beautiful! However, if you are someone who feels more comfortable with sleeves, then I think that’s a good option too…if not, i’d leave it alone!

Excellent alizafal–in blush!! lol
Thanks Miss Orchard – I am racking my brain on this one. Self conscious of being nude up top but dont want to compromise the gown either.
The dress is a size 10–but with all the pinings, the dress in the photo literally stands out on its own from my body…I’ll try to get a better. Thanks girls.
