I mess around with graphic design and came up with this design for our Save The Date. My Future Father-In-Law was in the printing business for 40 years and offered to handle all of our paper goods. I found the template for the playing card online, and just added my own touches to make it personal. All of the text I designed myself!
We are getting married here in Vegas, so I thought the card was a cute idea. It’s fancier than a regular card though. I added the hummingbird touches (FH’s grandma collected hummingbirds) and made the playing card’s with our initials and hummingbirds instead of hearts or diamonds.
Let me know what you think!

That is awesome! The only thing I would suggest would be to put a little more spacing between ARE GETTING MARRIED.

OMG, I LOVE it! And not in a little way, I love it in a BIG way.

Absolutely love it! Great job!

Super cool! How are you going to get them printed? Are you going to round the corners, so it’s just like a playing card?

@MissSunshine: These are amazing! I love them! I would just echo what ILikePink said about the spacing of “Are getting married”. So perfect for a Vegas wedding, you’ve done an amazing job!! And I love the sentiment of the hummingbirds, that is soooooooo wonderful!

ADORABLE idea! The only complaint I have–and this may be because the card is very small on my computer–is that it is very hard to read the extremely loopy, scrolly writing. Might want to make that a bit more legible, but again, I’m not sure if it’s just because the card is so small on my screen.
