The invitations were very hard for me to decide on. I probably ordered 40 samples, and agonized over the decision. In retrospect, I probably should have just gone the etsy route, but I found etsy totally overwhelming.
I ended up buying green metalic pocketfolds from cards and pockets.
I bought the inviatation mat, the belly band, and the square closure all precut from paperandmore.com. The rsvp envelopes also came fro paperandmore. No doubt it would have saved money to just buy the paper and have it cut here, but it was pretty nice just having it arrive in a box the way I need it.
The rest came from weddingpaper divas. To get the size and shapes I needed, I had to order rehearsal invites as my wedding invites, save the dates as my reception cards, and reception cards as my accomodation cards.
Ms. Trail Mix’s recaps inspired me, and we used the phrase “all my love, all my life” instead of a mongram to close the pocketfolds. You can’t really tell in the pictures, but it’s written in the same green as our names. The pink is actually a slightly darker fushia than it looks like in the photos.
I ended up LOVING them.

Thanks everyone! I never really put though into the colors, they just kind of happened, but I really like them. I think they will translate into a nice, happy wedding.
I can’t wait to send them out (although we are waiting until Dec 27 to avoid the post office Christmas madness.
Oh, and here are the envelopes.

What fonts did you use? I’m in the process of designing my invitations and the fonts are driving me CRAZY!

@missL2B:Fonts were awful for me to.
Wedding paper divas had limited fonts, so that made it even tougher.
I used tabs and memphis. THe envelopes are worstveld sling bold…I would have used in on the invites if it had been an option.
