My Fiance wanted to do Save the Dates. But neither of us liked the words “save the date” on the STD (ironic isn’t it). Well, he visited and said he wanted to send Save-The-Date Cards out (which I told him it’s too late and don’t want to). He wants to verify addresses.
So, I was looking around (on google) on how to DIY STD postcards. And I came across a weddingbee post who recommended Vista Print. Well, I tried it and it was super cheap. Only $0.14 per postcard, color front and black and white back. I set it up so it had a return address on the back so if the address is wrong it will be sent back to me (I checked with the post office to ensure post cards can be returned to sender if there is a return address).
So, I didn’t use a “STD” design on vista print. I found a generic design that I thought might compliment our “theme”. It was nice because I could change the color of the background too. I added my own photo, put my own words, changed the fonts, sizes and word locations and here’s what I came up with, The one thing that I’m not doing is the printing (which is what Vista Prints doing) – so it’s a semi-DIY STD postcard. What do you think?
