Instead of trying to match the right type of white for my bridal shoes, I thought maybe I’d wear shoes that matched my bridesmaids’ dresses which are purple (I don’t really like blue shoes so that’s why I won’t be doing that). The problem is there are so many shades of purple and not too many shoes that come in them.. at least not ones in the right height, style, and price.
I found these cute Nina shoes in purple. When I got them (I had to order a bunch of shoes online since there are just no dressy shoes anywhere right now), I realized they are more of a blue-purple while my bridesmaids dresses are a pink-purple.
Here is a photo of the shoes with the dress swatch on them to compare.
Do you think it’ll matter? I know you won’t see my shoes that much but there will probably be more photos of them if I am not wearing the typical white shoe. There will probably be the bridesmaids next to me with me lifting my dress to show my shoes.. the closeup of just my shoes.. etc
Thanks for the input!

I think it’s close enough for sure.
If you are super super concerned, you can always get a dyable pair of shoes and dye them to the color of your bm dresses.
I honestly don’t think it’ll really matter or anyone will be able to tell!

That looks REALLY close to me! It’d be hard to find much of a better match unless it was from the same company. It will never look exactly right when they’re on top of each other like that, but I bet if you put the shoes down and put the swatch a few feet away it will be hard to tell the difference.

They look super close to me! Although you can see a slight difference when they are on eachother like in the pic, your shoes won’t ever be that close to a Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. I don’t think it wil be noticable at all!

It’s very close. I think when they aren’t right next to each other, but with you next to your bridesmaids, they will look the same. But I also think it would look good if you did a lighter purple, that’s another option if you are worried.

Absolutely nobody will notice! lol You have nothing to worry about 🙂

@LOLgirl: I think it’ll be perfect! I did that same thing too!

I think they look pretty close, and depending on the lighting on the day of/the room your in for pictures/etc, they will match well!
I did the same idea but opposite lol, I found my shoes first (without trying to) and have been using them to match the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. It’s never going to be an exact match!

Here are mine. I wanted more of the mismatched color scheme though so I wasn’t TOO worried about it being 100% a match, even though my shoes did match some of their dresses pretty close.

@Redroc_13: Wow that’s a different approach. Good luck finding the perfect dresses! =)
@heathuhhhhwebbbb: Those shoes are adorable! And they look really good according to what I see.
Thanks for all the responses!
